Supporting Teen Moms with Essential Education

Lambda Omega Epsilon Sorority, Inc. empowers young mothers (ages 13–25) and their children by:

  • Building Community: Connecting teen moms with one another and with caring adult mentors

  • Equipping with Skills: Providing workshops and resources that foster personal, financial, and parenting growth

  • Shaping Positive Futures: Offering ongoing support designed to strengthen confidence, independence, and opportunity

Through these efforts, we cultivate a nurturing network that transforms challenges into stepping stones for lasting success.

Empowering Children in Outer Home Placement

Our Mission
We’re committed to providing every child entering foster care with a sturdy duffel bag or suitcase—never a trash bag. Comfort Cases

The Challenge
Because many child-welfare agencies lack the budget for proper luggage, children often arrive with all their belongings stuffed into garbage bags. This practice compounds their trauma, sending a harmful message that their possessions—and by extension they themselves—are worthless. Hope For Youth

Why It Matters
Research shows that simple dignity tools like reusable duffel bags can help restore a child’s sense of self-worth during an upheaval in their life. Advocacy efforts and new legislation nationwide are now seeking to end the use of trash bags for foster youth and ensure every child moves forward with respect.
